There are several must-have books in the library of a designer and this is one of them. Ellen Lupton has written several design books and like Steven Heller, Debbie Millman, Stefan Sagmeister and Adrian Shaugnessy she is a leader in her field. Thinking With Type is pure delight for any type nerd, explaining the differences between the world's most famous typefaces, advising which fonts are best to use where, and generally giving a run down of how typography works within design. Alongside ''A Smile in the Mind' and "Making and Breaking The Grid" this is a purchase that will further educate you on good design practice.
