Temple Grandin offers one of the few insights into the world of the autistic. Fans of her depiction in "an anthropologist on mars", by Oliver Sacks, should thoroughly enjoy this. It is a useful read for those with friends or family on the autistic spectrum, and also the synaesthetic, as good literature relating to these conditions is hard to find, and Sacks' humane approach is even rarer.
