This book is an excellent way to introduce a new baby to your child. Not only is the book fun with rhyming paragraphs but it also explains some of the strange happens in pregnancy! A must for all repeat parents and anyone who works with children!

This is the perfect book for you to buy if you are expecting a new baby. The book is beautifully written with rhyming paragraphs on each page. The illustrations are colourful and simple. My two year old daughter loves this story…even though there is no house inside her Mummy!

This has been a great book for my 2yr 10mth son, who is expecting a brother or sister to come along any minute now for playtime! He points to the Baby in the book then pats and hugs my tummy. I would highly recommend this book. It seems to have brought my son some level of understanding of why I have such a "big tum mama" according to him.

Excellent book to introduce toddlers to the concept of mummy having a baby and what to expect when it is born - what it is like inside the house and introduces ideas of mummy eating strange food, feeling tired or sick, and ways an older sibling can 'talk' to the baby inside... and all done in a humorous way. Fantastic book. Maybe a little 'old' for my 18mth old, but I'm sure she'll understand it by the time she's (almost) two when the new baby arrives. :)

We read this book nearly every month and it has helped our daughter understand she's going to be a big sister soon. The writing is of high quality so enjoyable for child and parent to read. The illustrations are 'real world' and show scenes that most families will be very familiar with.

A good concept - probably suits a slightly older child (say 2.5-3 yrs?) - it's a bit beyond my 19mth old currently and have found 'whats in your tummy mummy" better for her as it's lift the flap and a bit more interactive.
