This is a brilliant series for babies and toddlers. It is a very hands on book and because it is made of board, it will withstand the mauling that your kids will inflict on it. My son was given this as a christmas present and I have since sought out several other Fiona Watt books. It would make a brilliant present for any child aged 1-4. A great little read.

This book is great! My little one loves it and has loved it from a very young age. She is 11 months old and will turn the pages is find her favorite teddy's ie the fluffy and rough teddy's. The book is very sturdy and can handle a lot of manhandling!!

My 10 month old girl loves this book, and has since we got it 3 months ago.
It is a good size for her to hold and the pages are easy for her to turn. Her little hands seek out the feely touchy elements on each page.
When we've read it through a couple of times we start over with a game of "Where's Little Mouse?" and seek out the white mouse on each page. She is just starting to point so this is great practice and fun for her.
We also got "That's not my truck" for some harder textures, in contrast to the soft fluffy teddys.
She is very hard on it and it is still in good shape and the pages are glossy enough to be wipeable.

I love this 'that's not my...' series of books. We got several from the library and then bought That's not my dragon, that's not my tractor and that's not my teddy. This teddy one is one of the better ones because it has several fluffy/furry bits which babies really like (although each one is different) and it's also more colourful & interesting than some others (eg than the monkey & tractor one). There are more different, bright colours used and some of the pages are a bit 'busier' eg with stars on front page and more 'extra' items on some other pages. This makes it more attractive and more things to look at and name as baby gets older and is learning words. The version I got sent by fishpond actually has a lilac cover which is much nicer than the blue one shown in fishpond's picture (ISBN ending 8517-2.. because there is a US and UK version). The adjectives used are: woolly, soft, rough, squashy, fuzzy and furry. One thing to be wary of is the fibres on the 'ears are too fuzzy' page can come out if pulled/sucked. (This also happens with the 'that's not my pony' book's front cover). It's not a major thing I just watch him when he's got it in case he goes on a sucking session! Another favourite of ours in this series is the Dragon one (see my review).

Loads of fun for any growing reader. My son has enjoyed this book since about 6 months old and it is still a favourite 10 months later. He enjoys playing with the textures and the sturdy pages are easy for him to tun by himself. The books in this series are good fun for the wee ones.
