This is a great little picture book featuring zombies. Love and Zombies don't necessarily seem like the idea pairing, but it has been done before and quite well. The prose is very basic, a riff on the classic 'ten little Indians' poem. The real reason to buy this book are the hilarious illustrations, complete with blood splatter, gruesome zombies, and a brave protagonist hell-bent on protecting his one true love. Light and fun, this is a must have if you're a zombie literature fan--and how funny is it that that is legitimately a genre these days!
