About the Author

Mary Valentis is associate professor in the Department of English, Director of the Center for Humanities, Arts, and TechnoSciences (CHATS), and Creative Director for the Institute on Critcal Climate Change in the Humanities (IC3) at the University at Albany. Her books include The American Sublime, Female Rage, Brave New You, and Romantic Intelligence. She has published many articles on Wallace Stevens, William Faulkner, and on psychoanalysis, film, and culture.Tara P. Monastero earned her B.A. in English at Mount Saint Mary College (Newburgh, NY) and her M.A. in English at the University at Albany (Albany, NY), where she also holds candidacy for a M.A. in Women's Studies. Tara is co-editor of TechKnowledgies: New Imaginaries in the Humanities, Arts, and TechnoSciences (Cambridge Scholars Press, 2007).Paula Yablonsky received her B.A. in Business and her M.A. in English from the University at Albany, New York. She has worked as Program Associate for the Center for Humanities, Arts, and TechnoSciences, University at Albany. She is a freelance writer for the webzine InterfaithFamily.com. She has had articles re-printed in The Guide to Jewish Interfaith Family Life: An InterfaithFamily.com Handbook (Jewish Lights Publishing, 2001) and co-editor of TechKnowledgies: New Imaginaries in the Humanities, Arts, and TechnoSciences (Cambridge Scholars Press, 2007).
