About the Author

Playwright: Joe David's by-line has appeared in numerous publications (such as Hemispheres Magazine, Chicago Tribune, US Airways Magazine and much more). He has been a guest on many national and local radio and television stations (such as NPR, C-Span, ABC, etc.), and he has written six books; four are fiction (including The Infidels, Teacher of the Year, As Best We Can, and The Fire Within; both Teacher of the Year and The Fire Within made university reading lists). Like several of his books, Gourmet Getaways, is also about education, culinary education.
