Theodor Muller spent nineteen years in Australia in the late nineteenth century, and lived to write about it. Frank Pammer translated his memoirs, and brought them to the attention of Maurie Garland and John Ramsland, local history enthusiasts of regional NSW. Garland and Ramsland have previously published their respective historical and sociological titles, The Trials of Isabella Mary Kelly and Remembering Aboriginal Heroes through Brolga Publishing. They collaborated to review and edit this new edition.
