Loved it, virtually read it in one sitting. So much solid evidence of the danger of sugar. Makes great sense as to why we all struggle with our weight and will continue to do so unless we listen to and act on the advice in this book. Even the more technical chapters are well constructed and readable. We need this book as we need to understand the dangers of sugar to our health and our weight. I cannot recommend it more strongly. Truly illuminating. David Gillespie is to be congratulated for his tireless research.

I just read this book recently and it has opened up a whole new world for me. I was constantly berating myself for my lack of self control when it came to chocolate and ice-cream and other sweet treats, but I now understand what was happening inside my body and how to go about changing this situation.
I am so grateful that David has written this book and it certainly gives me hope that one day soon I will be able to lose the excess fat and keep it off once and for all without all the hopeless yoyo dieting and boring, repetitive exercise regimes.
Two thumbs up and well done!

Read this book.
It could change your life. It will definately change the way you think about the foods you eat and hopefully help people become more healthy.
The book is set out well to help you understand the scientific studies behind the reasons that Mars Bars, Coke and even your breakfast cereal are making you fatter.

David Gillespie's 'Sweet Poison' is a fascinating collection of studies on sugar and digestion and it scared the heck out of me.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Weight isn't an issue for me, however Sweet Poison has already helped me become a brighter, more energetic person. I highly recommend this book to anyone concerned about their health.

This was a brillant read, once I started I just could leave this book alone. Huge enlightenment of the evils of fructose!!! Scary stuff! A must read for anyone who consumes sugar and/or fruit juice. David Gillespie appears to have produced a well researched and objective overview of startling facts and figures identifying why the world is confronted with major health issues revolving around obesity caused by fructose consumption. He confronts you with such pure logic and reasoning along with his very enjoyable humour you simply cannot ignore his message. YOU HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK! (And pass it on to everyone you know!)
