I was skeptical about these novels and thought they could turn into a bit of fluff. However i really enjoyed the escape they gave. I felt as if i was getting a behind the scenes look of the show 'the hills' or at least it gave me a new perspective on the show. At times i was a little frustrated with the characters and at other times it made me giggle. I felt very engrossed in this novel and it was an easy read. I enjoyed it :)

this is the sequel to la candy and i think its better than the first book. it's so much more interesting and there's not more conflict which overall makes the plot better. I highly recommend it and i loved watching lauren conrad on the hills, too bad she's not on anymore. It's probably most suitable for young adults and i'd say its like in the chick lit genre.
