A good spanish book.
Very easy to read - lots of pictures and set out in small sections so it's not too hard to read. Has a small dictionary at the end. Doesn't show how to say each new phrase - and hardly anything at the start, so you could potentially say things quite wrong.
Therefore I would suggest you get the pack with the CD's as well as on pretty much every page it has a dialog or two that are on the CD's/ Cassettes.
Other than that a very nicely set out book.

A great Spanish course. I have tried several and this is the one that appealed to me most. It is very interactive, with plenty of examples from modern day life in Latin America. The grammar is interwoven with language that you will actually use in everyday life. There are lots of illustrations of things you will actually see - like tickets, hotel receipts, guide books etc. Overall an excellent way to learn Spanish.
