This is an intriguing story of female slavery. It was a bit confusing at first because of the way it was written, (almost as if it were reality) but it didn’t take long to be drawn in. All the way through I wasn’t sure if O was a willing participant or forced. It’s probably up to whoever is reading to decide.
While this is based on BDSM or sexual slavery I found O’s journey more compelling than the sexual content (not to say it wasn’t exciting).
Will defiantly read again as I’m sure that this book has more to take in.
Well... A very interesting book, one reccomended to me by a close friend. A must for those who truely erotic fiction!! As its only a little book is does not take long read, but is very full one & not for the faint hearted! I can understand why is was banned when it came out in the early 1950's very graphic in its descriptions & somewhat emotional for the main character, I kinda felt sorry for her at the end & it never really tells you how she will cope with her life after all she has been through. Despite that I did enjoy the book & am sure there are others out there who will as well. Cheers.
