This is a great book for any young student of the RAD syllabus, or for anyone teaching or assitant teaching any of these younger grades. Beautiful illustrations and descriptions of selected exercises can help a student to gain a deeper understanding of them.
This is also a helpful book for anyone undergoing RAD exams as it not only helps to revise material, but has helpful reminders as to technique and posture.
There are also sections dedicated to finding the right ballet school, how to behave in class, how to dress for ballet, what to keep in your dance bag, how to sew and tie ribbons, taking an examination, etc.
I only wish that I had found this book while I was doing my earlier exams!
