I'm a huge fan of Sheryl's story and have read Diamonds and Dust - I had purchased Stars Over Shiralee before I had even finished Diamonds & Dust because I didn't want it to end and needed to keep going after I had finished that book and of course needless to say its the same with Stars Over Shiralee, I am over half way through and cannot put it down!! Again I don't want it to end, I would love her to have written a third book and hope one day she will. I met Sheryl at a Breast Cancer breakfast and she was such a lovely person, I admire her strength and hope when I have my own children I can be as a good a mother as her. Love the tales of old McCorry and the raw honesty about her life. What an amazing women. Thank you for sharing Sheryl.
Stars Over Shiralee is the on going story of Sheryl McCorry's life after leaving the Kimberleys. She deals with adversity and tragedy to finally triumph to live happily on her beloved property in south west Western Australia the Shiralee. A book you will not want to put down.
l am reading this book at the moment. It is unreal!! It's sad, funny and honest. I am enjoying every moment of it i can't put it down. It is very interesting to read about her life with cancer, love, children and the loss of a child. She has written it very well. I love it!!! i recommend that you all read it. It's a wonderful novel based a true story. Enjoy :)
