Much like the Companion for Season 1 and the others following on (3 and 4) this is a must-have for fans of Stargate: Atlantis. Although it is a given that those who are interested enough in the series to purchase the official companions likely know the episodes well already, the recaps written up for each is a good reminder, plus to additional information provided by cast and writers or directors helps to pull the vision of the episode together well. The addition of pictures and status updates of the characters written from a character point of view is also entertaining. It is not a large or long book, by any definition, but is covers enough bases to be satisfying for a fan without being cumbersome to your bookshelf.
