Jack is in trouble with Kinsey again so when the Tok'ra ask for help, his team is eager to get out of the firing line. The situation they end up in is not what you'd expect. Lots of humour in this book, plenty of action as well. Jack's relationship with Carter is explored, and Daniel is left to contemplate his vulernability in a life threatening situation. It's a very good read, a page turner and I highly recommend it.
This is a very good book. I congratulate the author on a job well done—the story fits in perfectly with the Stargate canon. This book's story takes place immediately following the failed mission to Euronda. It does a great job at portray the tension between the members of SG-1 after that mission, and how they overcome great odds because of their great concern for each other. I have read it through and it was great. I would recommend it to any Stargate fan, or anyone for that matter.
