My six year old son is just starting to get the 'reading bug' and is totally into Star Wars.
Although some of the text is a bit difficult, he can work his way through it and enjoys reading familiar sentences over and over again.
A good one for early readers that love Star Wars!

As the title indicates, "R2-D2 and Friends" is about everybody's favorite astromech droid. The book examines R2-D2's designed purpose, his abilities and important missions. No discussion of R2 would be complete without mentioning his other half, C-3PO. Some of the droid duo's famous adventures are recalled, like their time together with Jabba the Hutt.
