Its interesting, and like other evolutionary biology texts I've read in the past, its given me some new insight into human behaviour. The imagery is pretty vivid, and can at times be a little, well, disillusioning with its stories. But ultimately it seems quite a realistic explanation of the many behaviours people exhibit. I'd recommend reading it if you have interest in such topics as psychology.

An interesting read on the sexual behaviour of both men and women. Each chapter is classified as a 'scene', where it involves a story about a man and woman and their current relationship state (which often involves adultery being commited by one or both parties). Baker goes into great depth as to why people cheat and what each sex is after in a partner. Theories raised in this book include the notion that a woman is more likely to get pregnant from a one night stand than she would from her regular partner. It also talks about how women desire the best genetic input from males for their future children in order so that her family bloodline will survive in future generations.
