I have two small children and work, and I was sick of the clutter and not seeming to get anywhere with the housework. So I decided to read about cleaning instead. Ha ha. No really, since I have read this book, I am ACTUALLY ENJOYING cleaning my house. I don't know about the 15 minutes a day bit - should be per room I think - but it really does give some great time efficient ideas such as having a clutter bucket to quickly throw things that don't belong into the room into it and then sorting them out later. I loved the part where you have guests arriving in 10 minutes - where to start? Cleaning as per this book is a fun challenge and has helped me to regain control. Basically, if you do a bit every day, your workload is so much easier to manage. It has some great ideas for scenting your home, ways to clean environmentally friendly (yes, vinegar and bicarb soda DOES work!!) Lookout Bree from Desperate Housewives...you have competition!

This seemed like a unwise impulse purchase - but given the chaos in the cleaning and neatness scene at home - desperation won out. While much of the advice is commonsense, baking soda and vinegar are great tools, the book is a great organiser for the mind; the prepared mental approach and go do it attitude is key to this time saving approach to cleaning the house.

Very useful book. I am doing up an old house so housework is doubly difficult. With the timer set I get stuck in. It's not perfect but can see a huge improvement in the last few weeks. Thanks.

Mmmm ..... cleaning is still hard work, and now I know I need to clean all sorts of places I would never have even thought of before. Still - good tips for baking soda and vinegar.

I have suffered from a cluttered house for as long as I can remember and the thought of cleaning it every week fills me with dread, however, since reading this book I have actually come to enjoy the task. I haven't managed to get a 'spotless house in 15 minues a day', but who cares? This book is filled with great time saving tips and is great for those of us who never grew up kknowing how to do housework.

Clean your house in 15 minutes everyday? Personally I don't think it is possible in my home, unless it has already been clean to begin with. That aside, this book still has great tips on how to clean your house, particularly for those who have grown up not learning how to clean. Lush's tips and tricks to houseclean room-by-room are clear and simple. Reading the book will make you want to clean!
