If you loved the book in the movie Despicable Me then you will love this too. I now use the lullaby from the book to sing my baby off to sleep at nights. Disappointed that the book didn't come with the brush to brush kittens furr though.
If you have seen despicable me there is a scene where this book is read to three young girls and while teased by their vilain adopted father the book is actually quite adorable and apprropriate for very young children as a bed time story. The three little kittens try every excuse to try to get out of going to bed. Mother cat gets them closer to bed one step at a time by saying things such as 'alright, but at least you should drink your milk.' The fun of the book is that then you and your child get to make the finger puppet kittens drink their milk. Cute.
