The third book in a delicious quartet of Regency-set historical romances, following Provocative in Pearls and Ravishing in Red (both Jove, 2010 - available from Turnaround). Celia's quiet life ends when her mother, a famed London courtesan, dies - leaving her a small house in town and a darkly handsome, reputedly dangerous tenant. Irresistible and wonderfully entertaining, Sinful in Satin is sure to delight Madeline Hunter's many fans.

When her mother an infamous courtesan dies,Miss Celia Pennifold inherits a house in a modest neighborhood and the handsome tenant that comes with it.Although she finds him attractive, she finds him too threatening to her peace of mind and tries to make him leave.Little does she know that the handsome Mr Jonathan Albrighton has an ulterior motive for lingering in the house...
This was an okay read, the revelation of Jonathan's birthright was kind of anticlimactic.I also thought that Celia forgave him too quickly for his deception over helping her find her father.Overall a slow paced regency, that takes a bit of patience to get into.
