this series is to me like a bit of a poorer version of the famous five or the five find outers and dog series. i mean it is pretty much a direct copy, just with more members, they even have a group dog aswell! dont get me wrong tho, the books are still very enjoyable. this one tells of a whole bunch of dogs going missing in their village, which they ignore as they are arguing over how to do things at their meetings, so they do not take notice until it is too late, and scamper is one of the dogs taken.
