This is truly an inspirational book about sewing clothes for children (mostly girls). Cheerful designs and amazing colour mixes. From reviews at other sites I see that the colour combinations haven't been well received by all readers of this book, but I must say that if you like the patterns, you are free to sew these beautiful clothes in subdued colour combinations. The instructions are clear, patterns are included separately and projects are divided in different skill levels from "simple to sew" to "intermediate" to "masterpiece".

Besides the projects itself, I especially enjoyed the comments and tips from the author; her story of how she began her business was most inspiring. The book includes how to make a dress form from duct tape for garment fitting, how to take measurements correctly and which pattern to chose and how to modify them if needed.

My 6 years old daughter was absolutely excited and loved pretty much everything pictured in the book - I guess that means I will start right away with the first project.

This is a beautiful book full amazing patterns and excellent details regarding each pattern.
I found it disapointing that the majority of the patterns were for girls. The number of boy clothing items were certainly out numbered by the boys.
Not taking this into account this is a lovely book with beautiful patterns for childrens clothing.

LOVE! this book so many ideas, patterns are well designed and fit perfectly for size of child. They are not the general baggy clothes that have little style found in so many books these days. Easy to follow instructions and each pattern gives you the room to leave out features or put some in to make your design truly unique. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have, I know I will use this book of many years as my children grow!
