About the Author

Elsa Kok is the former editor of the Single-Parent Family edition of the Focus on the Family magazine. Recently remarried, she has relocated to Bella Vista, Arkansas, where she works as a freelance writer and speaker. Elsa's passion is for communicating the love of Christ as an authentic reality in a hurting world. She has published hundreds of articles and three books and is currently working on her fourth book. Elsa also speaks around the country, leading retreats, seminars, and workshops for a variety of audiences. Elsa and her husband, Brian Colopy, together have four children, Sami, Sean, Jessica, and Cassie, and a dog, Reeses.
