About the Author

Carol Zentgraf is a designer and writer specializing in sewing, fabrics, and decorating. She also enjoys decorative painting. She has a degree in interior design and commercial art from Drake University and has worked in the craft and sewing industries as a designer and editor for more than 30 years. She is the author of Pillows, Cushions and Tuffets, Decorative Storage, The Well-Dressed Window, Machine Embroidery Room-by-Room, Sewing For Outdoor Spaces, and Sewing Season's Greetings. Her designs and articles have been published in a number of books and magazines. She lives in Peoria, Illinois with her husband Dave and English bulldog, Lucy. They have two grown children, Dan and Carolyn.
