I ordered this book not knowing too much about it. It is a beautiful book which incorporates shape cut outs through an easy to follow 'code' story.I was so delighted with this book that i am going to order more for presents!

This is a great book. you are taken on a treasure hunt with clues to follow to find out where the secret birthday present is. lots of fun with interesting clues - one leads to another like a chain to be followed. Would make a great gift for your own or other children.

What a fantastic book by Eric Carle my daughter and I love all of his books but this one is extra special as it introduces codes and takes the reader on a hunt it is such a fantastic read and a great birthday gift for inquisitive kids who enjoy fun stories and treasure hunts the birthday message is written in code which is fun and easyto decipher then off on the adventure to follow the clues in the birthday message it is just a wonderful book with more wonderful illustrations from Eric Carle
