About the Author

Dick Morris served as Bill Clinton's political consultant for twenty years. A regular political commentator on Fox News, he is the author of ten New York Times bestsellers (all with Eileen McGann) and one Washington Post bestseller. Eileen McGann is an attorney who, with her husband, Dick, writes columns for the New York Post and for their website, dickmorris.com. She has written extensively about the abuses of Congress and the need for reform.

The authors present their highly opinionated perspective on what they consider to be the mismanaging of the U.S. Federal Reserve System, America's involvement in the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the International Criminal Court, and, of course, the age-old right-wing whipping boy, the United Nations. Amid the highly charged rhetoric is selective evidence to support their claims regarding American jobs lost to mainland China, foreign aid that ends up in the hands of U.S. enemies, Pakistan's use of aid to help terrorists, the Saudi funding of international Islamic fundamentalism, the "corrupt" Afghanistan regime, and European bankers whom the authors state are attempting to "take over the U.S. economy and threaten its sovereignty"-all standard chaotic frenzy for fans of "Boss" Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Glenn Beck. VERDICT This work pre-sents a radically conservative point of view. Thankfully, former New York Mets public address announcer and radio DJ Pete Larkin's steadily paced reading manages to provide some stability to this material, which will stimulate hysteria throughout the world of AM radio and the wing-nut media.
