Neil Gaiman would write a 6 or 7 issue story arc, followed by a few issues of self contained stories. This is a collection of the latter following two salespeople who get lost in the snow and wind up at the World's End Inn, a place where different times and places meet. Different characters tell their tales or stories of people they know and each one is enjoyable and well scripted. The last issue is a lead in to the next volume, The Kindly Ones. If you want a good collection of late night round-the-table tales, look no further. An excellent collection.
