Love it! I've been using it to analyse my data for my doctoral thesis and it is the most helpful and concise book for anyone dealing with quantitative research.

This is a great book! If you are studying statistics subject either as an undergraduate or post-grad - this book gives a brief (easily understandable) explanation of which analysis to run according to what type of variables or research Q you have. It then outlines the steps to follow to conduct the analysis and even includes a section on how to write up the results. I wish I had had this book three stats subjects ago!
You will still need your stats text book (I have Field) to help you decide what type of tests you need to choose in the analysis (eg: if you've got uneven sample sizes)

This book has very good examples and explains step-by-step how do statistical analyses. Very light on theory (there's already a lot of books for that) but great practically. Some of the best features are that it provides syntax (along with point and click) and that it explains how to report results in your write-up. I highly recommend this book!
