This excellent book has taken the mystery out of those shadowy figures relating to the Monarcy in Britian. Some of the names have become well known over time whilst others faded into virtual obscurity. Anyone interested in the history of the British Royal Family would find this a must chronology of illegitimate royal children.

This is a fascinating book, which looks at the other side of the royal fence- examining the life and culture of illegitimate children in British royal families. The writers themselves are self-confessed descendants of "bastards", so their viewpoint is understandable a little sympathetic, but it is certainly a refreshing look at a little discussed area of monarchies.

THE BOOK IS A GREAT BOOK TO READ. WHEN I HAD FINISHED I ACTUALLY SAT DOWN AND THOUGHT REALLY HARD ABOUT IT. THERE ARE SOME WELL KNOWN NAMES IN IT AND SOME NAMES THAT I NEVER HERD ABOUT. I LOVE THE BRITISH HISTORY AND I WILL KEEP ON READING ABOUT IT.
