Delightful, delightful! My five year old loves it. Roald Dahl never loses his magic. The clever silliness keeps us entertained for hours. For a five year old pictures are very important - the illustrations are hilarious yet few, and even so we are never bored - pictures can paint a thousand words but what Roald Dahl does with words installs funny pictures and movies of adventure in our heads forever, that stimulate creative thought and plenty of laughter.

Roald Dahl is a classic author, his stories do not let reality get in the way if his imagination. My 7 year old girl loves Roald Dahl's books. A great buy.

The *ultimate* gift set for your tween. Suitable reading for children from 9 years of age (younger if you read the stories aloud). Roald Dahl was a legendary writer of the 1980's and early 90's and the value of these books in stimulating the child's imagination, stretching their views of reality as well as creating lead characters that children can relate to. These fantastic chapter books can be used to spark conversation of the right and wrong of our decisions and the decisions of others and society as a whole. They are the sorts of books that can inspire artworks illustrating what they have read and have children writing their own inventive stories.

This book set is awsome. I especially loved the BFG.I would recomend if you have children to read them one of his books or even if adults would like to read his autobiography.
