Lori Windsor Mohr grew up in Southern California. She graduated
from UCLA with a master's degree in public health nursing and spent
the last fifteen years of her career teaching for California State
University, Dominguez Hills. After 9/11 she retired to volunteer
full time for the Disaster Search Dog Foundation, where she began
writing nonfiction stories about search dogs. She was a staff
writer for Pug Talk Magazine for six years before turning to
fiction.
When she's not writing, Lori is busy as a docent at the Santa
Barbara Museum of Art. At home she can be found walking, biking and
hiking in Ojai, where she lives with her husband and three dogs.
This is her debut novel.
