Rewrite, by Paul Chitlik, is helpful, information and interesting. If you have written a screenplay and know that there are things wrong with it and aren't sure how to fix them, then using this book as a resource to find and tighten your work is a definitive step in the right direction. I found the way the information was structured made it easy to follow and it is, indeed, Step-by-Step, concentrating on each important facet of the screenplay one at a time rather than jumping all over the place and making things convoluted as some such books on this topic do. As said above, Helpful, Insightful and Interesting even if you are just giving your screenplay one last polish before sending it out.
