After reading happiness books like "Finding Happiness in a Frustrating World", I felt like I had a good handle on what science had uncovered about how to live a happy life and have to say that I am MUCH happier for having read them. But, while the field of positive psychology has made some great contributions to my happiness levels, it's books like The Power of Now that come along and let you know there's STILL more you can learn.

as all new age books its all wonderfull and good stuff that we all want to hear if you are on the path,if you are not then forget about it as it wont make sense,its easily written,maybe a bit repetitive but the more you hear it in different ways the more it makes sense,its a book that you must carry inside you daily,every second of the day to get any benefit from it,it can be life transforming on even a small level but at the end of the day the answer is in you and your willingness to change,this book only points to a possible way which i find completely correct and it does actually work in practice,but what a practice ,to change years and years of mental wiring,hmmm enjoy the moment.....

a guide it truly is and i can recommend any book or audio work by Eckhart Tolle and also Byron Katie. If you wish to simplify your life and make it one of quiet pleasures and inner peace then please get these books. The concepts are brilliant but will take some work even tho they are incredibly simple. BUT worth every second you spend on them.
