Packed with the kind of comprehensive science info that always tests my brain to the max. Invariably I find high level health science presented by scientists is a page by page stumble to take it on board. But Heather Fraser is a science journalist. She brings to this vital subject all the qualities one expects from good journalism. This treasure of a book is detailed, explicit and above all immensely readable. It spans the history of vaccines, the additives that make them so suspect, the history of vaccines plus the basics and complexities of immunology. All is explained with clarity. I read the entire thing in three sittings.

Have to admit I've always thought that the anti-vaccine and food allergy brigades were a bit well... how can I put this kindly? Precious. But after reading this book I'm convinced every parent should read it before they even consider exposing their children to any vaccine.
