is associate professor of regional planning at School of Architecture and Design ("E. Vittoria") of the University of Camerino. He is involved in research activities in the fields of urban sustainability, landscape and protected areas. Since 2003, he is the coordinator of the post-degree Master of "Landscape planning and protected areas management". He is member of the World Commission on Protected Areas (WCPA) of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
