When I first saw this book I knew I had to have it. Cecile Baird creates exquisite coloured pencil works of art that are filled with light. In this book she shares her techniques to capture light with coloured pencil. The book starts with some basic information on composition and lighting, then moves onto choice of paper and coloured pencils, and basic techniques. Over half of the book is demonstrations on creating different effects, all with step by step photos and detailed instructions, so you can complete each demonstration yourself at home. This book is a great reference for both the student and experienced coloured pencil artist.
