Chris Saper is a very talented artist and in this book teaches how to capture the quality and ambience of skin tones using her suggested palette. Drawing, value, colour, tone, composition and edges, etc, is reviewed. You learn how to draw the different skin colour groups. She discusses temperature, sunlight, artificial light, shadows, and also how to paint from photographs, plus much more. This is a beautifully illustrated book, step by step instructions that leave nothing to chance, examples in pastel, oil and watercolour. Worth getting and personally a great addition to my bookshelves groaning with art books :-)
