Calendar of Oxford City Apprentices 1513-1602
Appendix [transcripts of four enrolments]
Alan Crossley was the editor of the Victoria County History volumes on Oxfordshire, including the City of Oxford, and author of many articles on Oxford's history.
Apprenticeship records are important tools for social and economic
historians, and the appearance of this new calendar of enrollments
in Tudor Oxford is a welcome addition to previously published
material.
