About the Author
Written and illustrated by Beatrix Potter (1866-1943). Her passion for the natural world lay behind the creation of her famous little books. A particular source of inspiration was the Lake District where she lived for the last thirty years of her life as a farmer and conservationist.

I absolutely loved this book I thought it was absolutely beautiful, loved the fact that it ferns on the cover and that it was cushiony. The drawings were great and it had everything for in it for you to store those precious memories in it. I am very happy customer thank you.
Beautiful baby book to give to someone, or keep for yourself. Has all the information you want to record without adding too much stuff that might not be applicable to you (ie Christening, Naming, Hopes & Dreams etc - if the book is full of that stuff and you can't fill it in, it feels unfinished). Has a great teeth chart to keep track of when they come in. Really lovely and you can make it into something special if you put photos in and add in memories etc as they occur.
Fantastic baby book, I have one for my daughter and was given a different baby book for my son, but I just had to buy one of The Original Peter Rabbit Baby Book: My First Year for him also. Haven't found another baby book that compares!!
A great book to record all those precious moments, lots of places for pictures and a pocket in the back to store all those important bits and pieces.... Would recommend this to any new Parents.. a wonderful record of your baby's first year =0)
i thought it was beautifully presented loved the fact that it had the original drawings for the pictures. the perfect present for the wee new born. it is a book you can take out of the box or store on in the bookcase and share it around as it is so well presented
