This book is awesome. I am home educating my child, and was daunted at the thought of teaching reading, where to start and so on. This book has over 200 lessons, about 10minutes long. It starts with the vowels, through the consonants and then onto words, using a phonetic system. all the vowels and consonants have a poem with them to reinforce the lesson. Excellent!

This is BRILLIANT! A very easy guide to teach reading and my Daughter has caught on to it very quickly, I am very very impressed and highly recommend this book to everyone wishing to teach there children to read.

This is a great book for teaching reading in an easy yet thorough manner. Each lesson takes between five and fifteen minutes. The stories do not have pictures which has been a great help to my 5 year old daughter - she was getting distracted by pictures in phonic readers and not even looking at the words. There have been some fun, very easy to prepare games throughout the book which my daughter loves (even my older boys show interest in them). My three year old now wants to do the lessons too, so I am starting to teach her too when she shows interest.
The lessons are suitable for the very young but also for the remedial reader.
