What a fantastic read this book was, the honesty that Agassi shows is to be applauded and praised- not many would have the courage to tell the story he has told in these pages. I couldnt put this book down and it will definently be on my "favourites"list for years to come.

As a 50 year old semi competitive tennis player, this book touched me deeply. Last night I played in the next round of our local club competition and I wanted to lose to feel Agassi's pain. As only through defeat, sometimes humiliating defeat, can one truly feel the exhilaration and ectasy of victory.
Agassi's book had me in tears of laughter and tears of sorrow. A roller coaster ride with a man struggling to find inner peace made a thousand times more torturous as a result of the ever present intrusion of the public eye.
We lost the round by two games last night. I drove away from the couts with a grin from ear to ear -thank you Andre.

A very well-written and honest biography. Agassi holds nothing back allowing the reader a good look into his professional and personal life. The chapters that deal about the physical toll that the game took on his body are particularly forthcoming. A fantastic read for tennis fans or anyone that wants to understand how the mind of a champion works.

A great story and a great read for anyone - you do not need to be a tennis follower to enjoy it. Once started it is very difficult to put it down. One can only hold in awe the obstacles he overcame to to become the best.

A thoroughly good read. I'm amazed at the tough life Agassi had and how he managed to reach the top under those conditions both mental and physical. There's a lot of his life missing in between all those grand slams but I suppose the book would have been massive if any more had been written. At least it gave me more of an insight into the life of those at the top of the tennis circuit.

A really great read even if you are not a big tennis fan. It is a facinating insight into the lives of these top sport stars and what they have to go through to become number one in the world. Agassi was certainly a talented young player but he could so easily have fallen by the wayside... A beautifully written autobiobgraphy.

I bought this for my daughter who was an Agassi fan. She received it on a Monday and text'd me the Tuesday to say she'd read it and enjoyed it -so it was unputdownable. I live in the Uk and my daughter is in South Australia. So easy to buy it for her.

Its an absolutely intriguing, entertaining yet honest recount of his career and personal life, by one of the best tennis's players of his generation. Co-authored by a Pulitzer prize winner. A 'Cannot PUT DOWN'' read - I finished it in two nights. Dont miss it.

...didn't he claim to be 'Clean'.....
Then years later said "NO, he was a USER!!!"
You would wonder why they have not take all the money & all that he got from his conning people, and given it back to where it came from....
Con artist, Agassi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
