This is an incredibly moving account of tragedy and its aftermath, as told by Gill Hicks, survivor of the London bombings in July 2005. Gill was the last person to be pulled alive from the wreckage of the tube train at Russell Square underground station. Gill Hicks survived the London bombings in July 2005. Since that event her life and profession have changed direction and she is now a passionate advocate of inter-community relationships and of peace worldwide and is ambassador for the charity Peace Direct. Gill has appeared on a wide range of TV and radio programmes in the UK, Australia and US and has also written for newspapers and magazines. A native Australian, Gill has lived in the UK for 10 year and currently resides in north London with her husband, Joe Kerr.
