About the Author

Charles E. Reasoner has been creating and illustrating children's books for over 25 years. Studies at the University of Washington gave him a background in literature and graphic design. He has won numerous awards for his work, with over four hundred books to his credit and millions sold. He was given the Parent's Choice Award for his series of Sliding Surprise books and the Newberry Award for his work in multi-cultural folktales. Charles has a family of four grown children and currently resides in Taos, New Mexico, with his lovely wife of thirty-three years, Teresa, and his adorable Chihuahua, Chiquita!
