This book is a well written account of life during the second world war for a child who happens to be a jew. The way it is written is very strong and clear and you really imagine yourself to be there. It is a good read for a child aged 9-16 especially, both boys and girls, because even though main character is a girl, the war topic draws boys interest as well. Great book, haunting and it will stay with your.
