Good information that is beginning to come out slowly but surely and is smashing the myths and dogma that surround what constitutes a good diet. Thinking about the fact that the majority of the brain is made out of fat helps me to understand why diets that burn too much fat could be dangerous for people. Things like this are very important facts to know.
This book is essential to any health conscious cook. It taught me to cook and got me really excited about the improvements I could make in my diet. Thank you Sally Fallon and Mary Enig. I actually wore my first copy out. Now on my second copy, there is such an array of do-able recipes that I'm still stumbling across new ones to try. The best thing is that my foodie/wine connoisseur husband really loves my cooking inspired by this book. Our stamina and health are enviable by all our friends.
