A great old story. It is as lyrical as it is magical. Recommend it for every pre-schoolers library

I absolutely loved this story when i was younger and now my younger brother and sister adore it also. Its constantly requested as the favourite bed time story, and its a really fun book to read. It has cute illustrations and a funny story line sure to make any children smile.

For some reason known only to his young audience, Sendak manages to enthralled . My toddler requests this story repeatedly delighting in the classic illustrations and sense of magic. A great bedtime read dealing with a subject matter dear to every child's heart...cake!
