What can I say about Nigella. I absolutely love this cook book. Firstly because it is entertaining in itself with a little introduction to each of the delicious recipes. Secondly all the food is very, very easy to prepare and lastly the results are predictable, repeatable and looks just like the pictures. All ingredients are what most kitchen cupboards have on their shelves. This book delivers what it promises, quick, easy to prepare mouth watering food.

I have most of Nigella's books and have watched all of her shows. I love to cook but since having kids and working I find that I have less time to spend in the kitchen. This is one of the most useful books that I have for when I need to cook something quickly but don't want to lose on flavour. So many of the recipes are kid friendly and also appeal to adult tastes - so no cooking two meals, one for adults and one for kids.

Who doesn't love Nigella...?! :) Well written in a communicative format, yet succinct and clear. Some great recipe ideas to flick throug and gain some inspiration.

This cookbook by Nigella is awesome! The recipes are easy and really beautiful. Alot of the ingredients are things you can get easily too. I really love it and recommend it to anyone who loves to cook gourmet food without the fuss & expense.

Nigella writes in the same way that she speaks. For anyone who has watched her TV shows, this book is a must have (and for those who haven't: a GREAT starting point!!) The recipes are easy to follow and delicious! Her witty prelude to each chapter make this book so much more than just another cook book - I enjoyed it both as a book of recipes and an enjoyable read!

Along with quick and easy recipes, I found some tips and short cuts that I could apply to other recipes. Nigella's stories about each section and recipe are nearly as engaging as the food, always with her colourful style and wit. I like her laid back approach to entertaining, which makes it seem both easy and possible to feed guests and enjoy yourself too. A useful cook book and an uplifting read, a must have if you loved the TV show.
