About the Author

Milanese art critic and historian Anty Pansera has over the years moved towards the history and criticism of design. She taught the Theory and History of Industrial Design at Milan Polytechnic from 1996 to 2008. A teacher at the Brera Academy since 2001, she has also taught at the ISA in Monza and the Architecture Department in Palermo. Pansera also writes current affairs journalism and curates exhibitions; her preferred fields of research are industrial design and decorative and applied arts. Since 2010 she has been president of the ISIA (Istituto superiore per le industrie artistiche) in Faenza.
