This book in my opinion is the most complete guide to bodybuilding in the most effective and progressive way. The information and depth well surpasssed my expectation.

I bought this book as a present for my partner (who's a very keen personal trainer) and he has not put it down! Lots of pictures, lots of information, lots of inspiration! It goes through Arnold Schwarzenegger's entire work out/diet plans and according to my partner has been very much updated compared to the copies found in librarys. I'd probably only reccommend it too very keen weight-lifters/body builders. I could barely understand a word :(

This is a great reference book for all those interested in bodybuilding, however, like most comprehensive reference books there's more inofrmation here than you're ever likely to need. Great photographs of Arnie and his peers make for a classic bodybuilding bible.

This is a classic mainly for the pictures and the fact that it is huge. The exercises themselves and the layout is very counter productive for most of the people interesting in weight training. Far too many isolated muscle exercises and not enough emphasis on simple compound exercises. I suppose if they just concentrated on the big three exercise this book would be a fraction of the size.

this is a classic from arnold. The book features his training programs, which were very long to say the least. This book is great for the quality of pictures which are in it, a real look at the history of the sport. Overall a massive book which covers most exercises used in the gym.
